Arana United Futsal Club is a community futsal club affiliated with Football Queensland the state governing body of futsal in Queensland. There is a clear and structured pathway for players of all ages from social leagues to elite competition. The majority of players take part in our local programs and in-house competitions based at our home venue the Hills District PCYC, Everton Hills. Players who have ambitions to play futsal at representative level also have the opportunity to compete in the SEQ Futsal Premier League. Our aim is to bring the sport of futsal to as many players as possible by hosting quality development programs and professionally managed competitions. Our club is registered with Football Federation Australia which means we play under the internationally recognised FIFA rules. See below for more info about how our seasons are structured.
Registrations now open for our Term 3 junior futsal academy. This 10 week program will be held at Patricks Road State School, Ferny Hills on Saturday afternoons.

SUMMER SEASON (October - March) Seniors and Juniors
The peak futsal season is opposite to the football (soccer) season and is held in the summer months between October to March (with a short break over Christmas). During this time we run local in-house competitions at the Hills District PCYC, Everton Hills for juniors and seniors. Players are encouraged to form their own teams with their friends (8 players is an ideal number) and then register their team into the respective age group competition. Team nominations open in late August and close when all available team spots are filled. Individual players who do not have a team to join can register their interest via the 'find me a team' link and we will do our best to find a suitable team for you. Our in-house summer programs and competitions are broken up into the following categories:
- 4-6yrs & 7-8yrs Mini Roos Program - 10 week program from October to December held on Sunday mornings at the Hills District PCYC. Children join the program as individuals and are placed into groups for activities and games each week.
- Junior and Youth age group structured competitions - u10yrs, u12yrs, u14yrs, u16yrs & u19yrs. Players play for a set team and compete against other teams in a structured competition. Junior competitions are mixed gender (boys and girls). All games are played at the Hills District PCYC on a set day of the week. *NOTE: days of competition for the 2017/18 summer season are yet to be determined. Teams are awarded competition points with the top teams in each age group progressing to finals. For the first time in the 2017/18 summer season teams will have the choice to either compete in a shortened 'Power League' (10 week competition between October and December) or the full season from October to March (20 weeks). More information about the 2017/18 summer season will be published here in August 2017.
- Seniors - these competitions are played over the full season between October to March on Sunday evenings at the Hills District PCYC. The competition is divided into Division 1 (competitive) and Division 2 (social).
- Representative futsal - Selection trials are held in September to select players for our SEQ Futsal Premier League teams. Our representative teams also compete in the Craig Foster Cup in January and the FQ State Futsal Titles at Easter.
WINTER SEASON (April - August) Seniors Only
A more social seniors league is held over a 20 week season on Sunday evenings at the Hills District PCYC during the winter season.
THERE ARE NO JUNIOR COMPETITIONS DURING THE WINTER SEASON.
