Arana United Futsal Club is excited to announce our new partnership with Predators FC Futsal Academy.
Established in 2018, Predators FC Academy offers the opportunity for futsal development to Brisbane’s North Side futsal players all year round!
Predators Academy is run by Gino Dagostino, an FQ/FA qualified futsal & outdoor coach with extensive experience developing junior players. Gino has had a long relationship with Arana United, coaching teams in both our Social competition and FQ representative competitions.
Academy players will have the opportunity to be part of Arana United’s highly successful junior representative programmes, including our State Titles & F-League Junior rep teams. As well as popular futsal tournaments like the Gold Coast International.

"But I've never played futsal before..."

That's ok ..... we cater for all experience and skill levels.

"What gear do I need?"

To reduce fees uniforms are not required, so just wear appropriate clothing, long socks, shin pads and futsal shoes

"What will the players learn?"

Phase 1: Technical skills (ball mastery)

Phase 2: Positions and Rotations

Phase 3: Free Game Play

Each session will incorporate aspects of all three phases:
*ball skills   *tactical play   ​*free play

"Does futsal provide a player pathway?"

Absolutely! 
Players can progress from local programs to selection into representative teams.

SEQ Futsal Premier League

Arana Utd FC is one of a number of Football Queensland futsal clubs licensed to compete in the SEQ Futsal Premier League held between October and December each year.  This elite competition is professionally administered by Football Queensland.  Games are played on Saturdays at centralised venues.

Age groups: 10yrs, 12yrs boys, 14yrs boys, 16yrs boys, Youth Men (U19yrs), Open Men, 13yrs girls, 15yrs girls, 17yrs girls, Open Women.

Teams attend weekly training under the guidance of experienced futsal coaches.

Football Queensland State Futsal Titles

The Football Queensland State Futsal Titles are held at various venues across South-East Queensland. In 2021 they will be played, on the first weekend of July. Teams from Arana United FC​ (representing the North Brisbane Region) compete in these titles against other Regional teams from around Queensland. This is the pinnacle of the Queensland futsal calendar as this tournament is used to select players to represent the state in the FFA National Futsal Titles.

FFA National Futsal Championships

The Football Federation Australia National Futsal Championships is the premier futsal event in Australia. The Nationals are held in Sydney and Canberra and selected players represent Queensland against other state teams from around Australia. This week long tournament is held in January each year.
